Introductie
Curriculum Vitae
In 2000, I started my study in Facility Management at the Hogeschool Zuyd in Heerlen. I graduated 4 years later, and subsequently started my study in Psychology at Maastricht University. After finishing the second year, I specialized in Biological Psychology, which provided me with the fundamentals of cognitive neuroscience. Moreover, in 2006 and 2007, I worked as a student assistant at the faculty of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences. I obtained my Bachelor degree in 2007 with a literature thesis studying the possibilities of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation in understanding and treatment of Schizophrenia. In order to obtain a Masters degree in Cognitive Neurosciences, I began my study in Neuroscience and Cognition at Utrecht University in 2007. In October 2010 I hope to successfully complete my degree.
Relevant work experience
Since May 2009 I work as a research assistant at NICHE. I facilitate and co-ordinate the MRI research done in typically developing children and children diagnosed with a psychiatric disorder. Specifically, I acquire and process medical and research data for further analysis.
